Educación sexual en instituciones educativas del nivel medio. Gestión pública y privada

    La Organización de las Naciones Unidas, refiere que, al educar a una niña, se le proporciona herramientas y conocimiento para atender su propio futuro. El objetivo general de esta investigación fue “Analizar la implementación de la Educación Sexual en Instituciones Educativas de Nivel Medio, de Gestión Pública y Privada del Departamento Central-Paraguay, 2020”. Estudio de diseño no experimental de enfoque mixto, cuya principal estrategia fue la triangulación metodológica. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron la entrevista semi estructurada, grupo focal a una muestra de docentes y estudiantes, y la revisión documental a través de una lista de cotejo. El tipo de muestreo fue el intencional dirigido. El estudio fue realizado en dos instituciones educativas de nivel medio de gestión privada y pública del departamento central. Los datos fueron analizados respondiendo a los objetivos propuestos en la presente investigación mediante la estadística descriptiva epiinfo 7.2 y analizando las categorías y subcategorías de análisis por Atlas ti 2020. Se concluye que dentro del contenido curricular se encuentran contemplados temas de educación sexual en los planes común y específico. La pertinencia de las prácticas pedagógicas, según estudiantes, es inadecuada. La experiencia del docente en aula es la falta de lineamiento con respecto al tema y la persistencia del tabú en una sociedad cerrada, la capacitación docente en el área y la transversalidad en las diferentes asignaturas aún son temas pendientes; por tanto, la educación del nivel medio se ve negativamente afectada en la implementación efectiva de la educación sexual.

    The United Nations Organization states that, by educating a girl, she is provided with tools and knowledge to take care of her future. The general objective of this research was “Analyze the implementation of Sex Education in Middle-Level Educational Institutions, Public and Private Management of the Central Department-Paraguay 2020”. Non-experimental design study with a mixed approach, whose main strategy was methodological triangulation. The techniques used were the semi-structured interview, a focus group with a sample of teachers and students, and the documentary review through a checklist. The type of sampling was intentionally directed. The study was carried out in two educational institutions of medium level of private and public management of the central department. The data were analyzed responding to the objectives proposed in the present investigation employing the descriptive statistics epiinfo 7.2 and analyzing the categories and subcategories of analysis by Atlas ti 2020. It is concluded that within the educational curriculum, issues of sexual education are contemplated in the common plans and specific. The relevance of pedagogical practices according to students is inadequate, the teacher’s experience in the classroom is the lack of guidelines regarding the subject and the persistence of the taboo in a closed society, teacher training in the area and transversality in the different subjects still are pending subjects; therefore, middle-level education is negatively affected in the effective implementation of sexual education.
