    Conversación acerca de la Historia Pública y el rol del historiador entre los historiadores Joan W. Scott y Rafael Sagredo. A propósito de la conmemoración de los cincuenta años del golpe de Estado en Chile, se dialoga en torno a cómo abordar el pasado en sociedades con pasados traumáticos recientes. Inspired by the 50th anniversary of Chile’s coup d’état, they discuss how to approach the past in societies with recent traumatic pasts. Joan Scott refers to her reflections upon “the judgement of history” and the concept of alternative history.
