  En la creciente invernal del rio Paraná del año 2013, en la cabecera del delta se decidió realizar un muestreo de sedimentación y conocer la tasa, las cantidades y las proporciones de limo, arcilla y arena de los sedimentos que acarrean las aguas. Las trampas utilizadas para ser colocadas antes del ingreso de las aguas a la isla fueron de 30*30 cm, y luego retiradas al final del periodo (65 días). El valor máximo depositado fue de 1180 g*m² en todo el periodo con una tasa diaria depositada de 18,2 g*día1*m2. El limo fue la porción de sedimento más abundantemente depositada.

  When the Parana River’s water level of the river head area rose in the winter of 2013, a study was made with the sampling of the sedimentation to find out the rate, the quantities and proportions of lime, clay and sand in the sediment carried by the water. The traps used, that were located prior to the arrival of the water to the island, measured 30*30 cm; they were then analysed at the end of a period of 65 days. The maximum value deposited was 1180 g*m2 in the entire study period with a daily deposition rate of 18,2 g*day-1*m2. Lime was the most abundant portion of the sediment deposited.
