Resumen de Repensando las formas de hacer cultura en la ciudad fronteriza de Concordia (Entre Ríos)

  La Ciudad de Concordia en la Provincia de Entre Ríos tiene la particularidad de construirse socioculturalmente en el cruce cotidiano con la Ciudad vecina de Salto (Uruguay). Como parte de una investigación en curso “Consumo cultural e identidad a orillas del río Uruguay. El caso de la Ciudad de Concordia, Entre Ríos” y a través de un enfoque socioantropológico e histórico, este trabajo tiene un objetivo doble, por un lado, historizar los orígenes de la ciudad entrerriana en sus vínculos con “lo cultural” y sus interrelaciones con la ciudad de Salto; para luego, por otro lado, analizar las formas actuales de “hacer cultura” desde ciertos espacios de gestión cultural de la ciudad. En este sentido, se intenta mostrar y explicar las rupturas y continuidades de ciertas maniobras políticas-económicas locales que “movilizan” las fronteras culturales entre ambas ciudades y construyen una identidad cultural concordiense en permanente tensión-negociación con la ciudad vecina. Dicha complejidad, toma características específicas en el contexto presente construyendo nuevas problemáticas en el diseño y ejecución de las políticas culturales actuales.

  The City of Concordia in the Entre Rios’ Province has the particular socio-culturally constructed at the crossing daily to the neighboring city of Salto (Uruguay). As part of an ongoing investigation “Cultural consumption and identity on the River Uruguay. The case of the City of Concordia, Entre Rios” and through a socio-anthropological and historical approach, this work is double, first, historicize the origins of the Entre Ríos’ city their links to “culture” and its interrelationships with Salto City, and then, secondly, discuss ways of “doing culture” from specific places of the city’s cultural managements. In this regard, we intend to show and explain the ruptures and continuities in certain local political-economic strategy to “mobilize” the cultural boundaries between the two cities and build a cultural identity concordiense in tension-trade permanent with the neighboring town. Such complexity, making specific characteristics in the present context building new problems in the design and execution of the current cultural policy.
