    Este trabajo se centra en la película La casa del recuerdo (Luis Saslavsky, 1940) para examinar la participación creativa de la escritora chilena María Luisa Bombal. Articulando los estudios de género y las epistemologías situadas, desde el enfoque de la historia cultural el texto identifica, estudia y explica contextualizadamente la intervención de quien fue convocada para escribir el libro original y el guion de la cinta, elemento que, aunque vuelve al caso de análisis una excepcional rara avis dentro del período clásico-industrial argentino, no ha tenido fortuna crítica. Así como el film pone en escena y pondera el legado y la filiación maternas, examinar la gestación material de esta producción comercial de Argentina Sono Film, protagonizada por Libertad Lamarque y Elsa O’Connor, ofrecerá una nueva luz respecto de la contribución de su madre literaria, cuestionando la desatención analítica que, hasta ahora, la historiografía del cine ha tenido con Bombal.

    This work focuses on the film La casa del recuerdo (Luis Saslavsky, 1940) to examine the creative participation of the Chilean writer María Luisa Bombal. Articulating gender studies and situated epistemologies, from the perspective of cultural history the text identifies, studies and explains contextually the intervention of the person who was summoned to write the original book and the script of the film, an element that, although it returns an exceptional case within the Argentine classical-industrial period, has not had critical fortune. Just as the film stages and ponders the maternal legacy and filiation, examining the material gestation of this commercial production from Argentina Sono Film, starring Libertad Lamarque and Elsa O'Connor, will offer new light regarding the contribution of his literary mother, questioning the analytical neglect that, until now, film historiography has had with Bombal.
