Este artículo ofrece una visión global y sistemática de los temas de teología que Liciniano de Cartagena trató en las tres cartas que de su autoría hemos conservado, así como de las influencias y autores que muestra conocer.
El obispo de Cartagena nos aparece como una figura interesantísima para conocer la variada red de influencias literarias y teológicas que recorrían la Hispania de finales del s. VI y como un punto de encuentro de diversas corrientes. En su pensamiento vemos una muestra ejemplar de la sistematización y consolidación teológica del final de la época patrística en el inicio del siglo de oro visigótico.

This article offers a global and systematic view of the subjects of theology that Licinianus of Cartagena spoke about in the three letters of his authorship that we have kept, as well as the influences and authors that he shows to know. The bishop of Cartagena appears to us as a very interesting leading figure to know the varied net of literaly and theological influences that traversed Hispania in the end of the 6th century, and also as a meeting point of diverse currents. In his thought we see an exemplary sample of the theological systematization and consolidation of the end of the Patristic era in the beginning of the Visigothic Golden Century.
