Resumen de Modelos Educativos para la Enseñanza de Historia en Educación Básica

En el transcurso de la enseñanza de la historia se ha podido descubrir que el modelo educativo que recurre únicamente a la mera transmisión de información, la memorización de datos y personajes es un fracaso, pues los alumnos no han demostrado que partir de ello posean habilidades de raciocinio y comprensión que los conduzca a generar conocimiento. El presente ensayo se enmarca bajo el método deductivo, en el paradigma humanista, bajo un enfoque cualitativo de tipo descriptivo con un diseño narrativo tópico. El objetivo del estudio es describir el método de enseñanza tradicional y el método de enseñanza constructivista en la asignatura de historia estableciendo sus ventajas y desventajas, constatando cómo el método constructivista mediante la asimilación y la generación de propios juicios en los alumnos genera el aprendizaje de la historia, favoreciendo al análisis de los hechos permitiendo comprender y comparar los acontecimientos actuales dando lugar a la crítica.

In teaching history, it has been possible to discover that the educational model that uses only the mere transmission of information and the memorization of data and characters is a failure since the students have not shown that, starting from this, they have communication skills. Reasoning and understanding lead them to generate knowledge. This essay is framed under the deductive method in the humanist paradigm, with a qualitative descriptive approach and a topical narrative design. The objective of the study is to describe the traditional teaching method and the constructivist teaching method in the history subject, establishing their advantages and disadvantages, verifying how the constructivist method, through the assimilation and generation of their judgments in the students, generates the learning of the history, favoring the analysis of the facts allowing to understand and compare current events giving rise to criticism.
