Los estudios lingüísticos y literarios en el Centro de Estudios Históricos: orígenes, proyectos y filólogos

    En este artículo se hace un estudio, basado en documentos inédi- tos, de cómo se funda la sección de Filología del Centro de Estudios Históricos, a partir de un seminario creado en la ILE, y cómo se forma su núcleo central con Pidal, Castro, Navarro y Onís. Después se muestran las diferentes subsecciones que se crea- ron con los distintos proyectos en los que se trabajaron entre 1910 y 1936, viendo así la evolución de sus intereses filológicos. Por último, se hace una relación de los dis- tintos filólogos que pasaron por la sección de Filología y el proyecto en el que traba- jaron cada uno. Toda esta información en conjunto nos ayuda a valorar aún más la importancia que la filología tuvo dentro del Centro de Estudios Históricos.

    In this article, a study is made, based on unpublished documents, of how the Philology section of the Center for Historical Studies is founded, based on a seminar created at the ILE, and how its central nucleus is formed with Pidal, Castro, Navarro and Onís. Then the different subsections that were created with the different projects that were worked on between 1910 and 1936 are shown, thus seeing the evolution of their philological interests. Finally, a list is made of the different philologists who passed through the Philology section and the project in which each one worked. All this information together helps us to further appreciate the importance that philology had within the Center for Historical Studies.
