    La presente obra corresponde a un estudio de los orígenes de la figura de protección multinivel, su recepción e inclusión en los sistemas de protección de derechos humanos, especialmente en el europeo y el americano; así como una mirada a la efectividad y beneficios que ha reportado su aplicación.

    En contraposición, se trata también de un análisis de las problemáticas y retos que han surgido con la misma, los cuales han sido advertidos desde casos originarios, como en el asunto denominado Servet Kamberaj contra el Instituto para la Vivienda Social de la Provincia Autónoma de Bolzano; en el cual se ubicó al juzgador en una posición de dicotomía frente a la interrogante de ¿Cuál derecho de conformidad con su nivel espacial de protección, se debe aplicar en cada caso concreto? Lo anterior, con miras a resaltar la importancia de una figura, la cual ha tenido su principal desarrollo en el modelo europeo y cada vez más impacto y acogida en el escenario americano.

    This work corresponds to an analysis or study of the origins of the figure of multilevel protection, its reception and inclusion in human rights protection systems, especially in the European and American ones; as well as a look at the effectiveness and benefits that has reported your application.

    In contrast, it is also an analysis of the problems and challenges that have arisen whit it, which have been warned from original cases, such as the matter called Servet Kamberaj against the Institute for Social Housing of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano; in which the judge wasplaced in a dichotomous position facing the question of ¿which right, in accordance with its spatial level of protection, should be applied in each specific case? The foregoing, with a view to highlighting the importance of a figure, which has had its main development at the European level and each time, more impact and reception on the American stage.
