Resumen de Deconstrucción del lenguaje neoliberal: in memoriam de Manfred Max-Neef

El artículo presenta el llamado Desarrollo a Escala Humana de Manfred Max-Neef, su crítica al dogmatismo económico neoliberal y su lenguaje, especialmente a parámetros como el Producto Interno Bruto y el principio del crecimiento económico; revisa, también, la postulación de la economía descalza y su redefinición de las necesidades, entre otros aspectos relacionados. Igualmente, plantea la necesidad de un desarrollo endógeno vital que permita articular lo local y lo nacional, lo particular y lo universal, facilitando construir un modelo económico más integral y respetuoso del medioambiente. A más de cuatro años de su muerte, este texto pretende ser un llamado a revisar su obra y valorar sus aportes, los cuales se inscriben dentro del pensamiento crítico y alternativo latinoamericano como una alternativa decolonial

The article presents Manfred Max-Neef 's concept of Human-Scale Development, his critique of neoliberal economic dogmatism and its language, particularly parameters like Gross Domestic Product and the principle of economic growth. It also examines the proposition of barefoot economics and its redefinition of needs, among other related aspects. Similarly, it advocates for the need for a vital endogenous development that allows the articulation of the local and the national, the particular and the universal, facilitating the construction of a more comprehensive and environmentally respectful economic model. Over four years after his death, this text aims to serve as a call to review his work and appreciate his contributions, which fall within the realm of Latin American critical and alternative thought as a decolonial alternative
