El sustantivo zasca procede de la onomatopeya homónima y designa metalingüísticamente un tipo de respuesta no preferida que supone un acto amenazador de la imagen positiva del interlocutor y que apoya las censuras grupales no organizadas ejercidas en las redes sociales. El objetivo de este trabajo es explicar el significado del sustantivo zasca y su uso en distintos tipos de discursos. El análisis de su uso en la red social Twitter y en los textos periodísticos evidencia tres hechos. Por un lado, muestra una tendencia en determinados contextos a la búsqueda de la acción no preferida. Por otro lado, permite observar el fenómeno comunicativo de los linchamientos en las redes sociales y la censura que conllevan. Por último, zasca actúa como una etiqueta discursiva en lo oral y en lo escrito para caracterizar un fragmento discursivo emitido por otro hablante.
The noun zasca comes from the homonomous onomatopoeia zasca and describes in a metalinguistic form a type of dispreferred response that involves an act threatening the positive image of the interlocutor and that support unorganized group censorship that take place in social networks. The objective of this paper is to explain the meaning of the noun zasca and its use in different type of speeches. The analysis of its use in Twitter and in journalistic texts evidences three facts. On the one hand, it shows that there is a tendency in certain contexts to search for the unpreferred action. On the other hand, it allows us to observe the communicative phenomenon of the shitstorms on social networks and the censorship that they entail. Finally, zasca acts as a discursive label in oral and written speeches to characterize a discursive fragment uttered by another speaker.
