    El presente trabajo tiene por objetivos principales, primero, dar cuenta general del lugar de la escatología al interior de la cristiandad desde un punto de vista histórico. Segundo, describir las implicancias que tuvo el milenio en la patrística para en tercer lugar, revisar y analizar los calendarios de la edad de la Tierra según diversos pensadores cristianos de la Europa Medieval hasta el siglo XVI.

    The main objectives of this work are, first, to give a general account of the place of eschatology within Christianity from a historical point of view. Second, describe the implications that millennium had in patristics and thirdly, review and analyze the calendars of the age of the Earth according to various Christian thinkers from Medieval Europe until the 16th century.
