  La hipertensión pulmonar persistente en el recién nacido es una mala adaptación circulatoria postnatal sumados a factores externos que contribuyen su aparición, siendo primordial la valoración diagnostica, donde ha actuado eficazmente los avances médicos en el tratamiento sumando el criterio de abordaje del equipo de salud de las unidades de cuidados críticos neonatales mostrando resultados prometedores y con gran tolerabilidad. Objetivo: Describir el diagnóstico y tratamiento de la hipertensión pulmonar persistente en el recién nacido. Metodología: se realizó la revisión bibliográfica de artículos del año 2000 hasta el 2020 utilizando las palabras de Hipertensión pulmonar persistente en el recién nacido y tratamiento, obtenidos en Pud med, Scielo, Science direct, Elseiver, Google académico, Revista sanidad militar, Journal of critical care medicine, Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Pak. med. Assoc., y Revista mexicana de pediatria. Conclusión: La información obtenida nos muestra múltiples tratamientos médicos especializados avanzados y tentativo a implementar en las áreas de las unidades críticos neonatales, facilitando su temprano diagnóstico y abordaje terapéutico siendo la valía de tener excelentes resultados en mejora de salud con nuestros pacientes.

  Persistent pulmonary hypertension in the newborn is a postnatal circulatory maladaptation added to external factors that contribute to its appearance, diagnostic assessment being essential, where medical advances in treatment have acted effectively, adding the approach criteria of the health team of the neonatal critical care units showing promising results and with great tolerability.

  Objective: To describe the diagnosis and treatment of persistent pulmonary hypertension in the newborn. Methodology: the bibliographic review of articles from the year 2000 to 2020 was carried out using the words Persistent pulmonary hypertension in the newborn and treatment, obtained in Pud med, Scielo, Science direct, Elseiver, Google academic, Military health magazine, Journal of critical care medicine, Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Pak. med. Assoc., and Mexican Journal of Pediatrics. Conclusion: The information obtained shows us multiple advanced and tentative specialized medical treatments to be implemented in the areas of neonatal critical units, facilitating their early diagnosis and therapeutic approach, being the value of having excellent results in improving health with our patients.
