Cartografías de la imagen teatral en la filosofía francesa contemporánea

    El artículo aborda el modo en que el tópico del teatro circula entre las reflexiones de la filosofía francesa de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Dentro de esta inscripción teórica, podemos encontrar la reiteración de un uso metodológico del teatro, el cual opera como un artefacto conceptual que permite configurar un espacio de experimentación para la filosofía, es decir, permite establecer una lógica de funcionamiento de los conceptos cercana al movimiento de la puesta en escena. Asimismo, el pensamiento francés contemporáneo dialoga con las crisis y desplazamientos de las concepciones teatrales del siglo XX, razón por la cual la referencia al teatro no es solo metodológica, sino que considera la práctica artística poética y los conceptos que de ella emergen. De acuerdo con esto, proponemos pensar la problemática desde la categoría de “imagen teatral” para indicar que la filosofía francesa determina el tópico desde un doble aspecto: una imagen teatral del pensamiento y una imagen teatral poética.

    This paper approaches the way in which the topic of theater circulates among the reflections of French philosophy in the second half of the 20th century. Within this theoretical inscription, we can find the reiteration of a methodological use of theater, which operates as a conceptual artifact that allows configuring a space for experimentation for philosophy, i.e., it allows establishing an operating logic of concepts that resembles the movement of the mise-en-scène. Likewise, contemporary French thought enters into dialogue with the crises and displacements of the conceptions of theater in the 20th century, which is why the reference to theater is not only methodological, but also considers poetic artistic practice and the concepts that emerge from it. In accordance with this, we propose to approach the topic of theater from the category of “theatrical image” to mark the dual aspect in which it appears in French philosophy: as theatrical image of thought and as poetic theatrical image.
