Resumen de Las propuestas filosóficas de Cornelius Castoriadis y de Alain Badiou: análisis de sus puntos de enlace

El presente artículo tiene como propósito mostrar las concordancias filosóficas entre Cornelius Castoriadis y Alain Badiou a partir de la posibilidad de un acercamiento filosófico a lo histórico-social. Centraré mis argumentos al terreno ontológico por medio de la lectura de algunas de sus principales obras. Algunos de sus enlaces proceden de su común filiación marxista, así como de su interés por el psicoanálisis y el estudio de la teoría de conjuntos. Más allá de esto, sin embargo, surgen nuevos enlaces argumentativos relacionados con la noción de acontecimiento. El artículo sugiere, por último, la posibilidad de perfilar una metodología filosófica a partir de la relación entre ambas filosofías.

The central objective of this article is to show the philosophical continuity that exists between the works of Cornelius Castoriadis and Alain Badiou. This continuity, it argues, makes it possible to propose a philosophical approach to the “social-historical”. The analysis focuses on ontological aspects and draws on a comparative reading of several of Castoriadis’ and Badiou’s writings. Some of the similarities between these two philosophers arise from their common philosophical context –since both were originally Marxists– and a shared an interest in psychoanalysis and the study of set theory. Beyond this, however, some argumentative links related to the notion of ‘event’ arise. The article suggests, finally, the possibility of outlining a philosophical methodology based on the links between these two philosophies.
