Resumen de Capítulo 2 La regulación socio-institucional y económica del intercambio florícola en el sur del Estado de México: el zoom del mercado

  El interés de estudio de la presente investigación fue indagar el funcionamiento del mercado con base en los arreglos y mecanismos socio-institucionales que regulan el intercambio económico en el mercado de flores de la localidad de Tenancingo, Estado de México. El propósito metodológico consistió en la categorización de los arreglos socio-institucionales que regulan los intercambios económicos de mercadeo de la actividad f lorícola en la región sur del Estado de México. El análisis de los arreglos y mecanismos se realizó con la técnica de Análisis de Componentes Principales. Los arreglos y mecanismos se sustentan en un conjunto de reglas, normas y restricciones que determinaron el intercambio, la elección y la conducta de los actores sociales y, además, proporcionaron los incentivos de actuación.

  Neo-institutionality recognizes that sociocultural and productive aspects have a fundamental impact on the processes of commercial exchange, which translate into benefits for social actors, which are not only economic, but also ethical, moral and emotional. This postulate recognizes in its conception that the functioning of the market depends on a base of social and institutional arrangements, as well as formal and informal regulatory mechanisms resulting from socioeconomic interaction. The study interest of this research was to investigate the functioning of the market based on the socio-institutional arrangements and mechanisms that regulate economic exchange in the flower market of the town of Tenancingo, State of Mexico. The methodological purpose consisted in the categorization of the socio-institutional arrangements that regulate the economic exchanges of marketing of the floricultural activity in the southern region of the State of Mexico. The analysis of the arrangements and mechanisms was performed with the technique of Principal Component Analysis. The arrangements and mechanisms are based on a set of rules, norms and restrictions that determined the exchange, choice and conduct of social actors and, in addition, provided the incentives for action.
