    El siguiente trabajo es un ensayo que expone sobre la Gran Depresión (crisis del 1929) y la teoría que propuso Keynes con el objetivo de comprender y dar a conocer tres temas destacables del libro “De Keynes a Keynes. La Crisis Económica Global, En Perspectiva Histórica” realizado por el autor Federico Novelo Urdanivia; donde el primer tema expuesto abarca todo tipo de información sobre la Gran Depresión: su surgimiento, antecedentes, efectos que trajo consigo y cómo se vio perjudicada la economía mundial por la antes mencionada crisis financiera; el segundo tema es protagonizado por el economista John Maynard Keynes, donde se explica su análisis respecto a la economía durante la Gran Depresión y como a raíz de esta fundó la teoría keynesiana, pionera de la macroeconomía; y en el último tema se menciona el regreso de Keynes, a pesar de que su teoría fuera muy criticada, él regresó con aportaciones superiores y nuevos términos económicos, como la escasez y demanda agregada, que ayudaron a afrontar la crisis económica por la que se estaba pasando en ese entonces. El ensayo culmina con sus respectivas conclusiones, destacando que, la teoría de Keynes fue muy apta para afrontar la crisis financiera del momento, ya que, sus propuestas se volvieron muy útiles con la finalidad de atender varias formas en las que estas se presentan ante una crisis económica, y al dar poder a las instituciones financieras, esta teoría fue y sigue siendo uno de las más estudiadas en economía

    The following paper is an essay about the Great Depression (crisis of 1929) and the theory that Keynes proposed to arise from it with the aim of understanding and publicizing three important topics of the book "De Keynes a Keynes. La Crisis Económica Global, En Perspectiva Histórica" by the author Federico Novelo Urdanivia; where the first topic exposed covers all kinds of information about the Great Depression: Its emergence, background, effects it brought with it and how the world economy was harmed by the aforementioned financial crisis; the second topic is led by the economist John Maynard Keynes, where his analysis of the economy during the Great Depression is explained and how he founded the Keynesian theory, pioneer of macroeconomics, as a result of it; And the last topic mentions the return of Keynes, although his theory was highly criticized, he returned with superior contributions and new economic terms, such as scarcity and aggregate demand, which helped to face the economic crisis that was happening at that time. The essay culminates with its respective conclusions, highlighting that Keynes' theory was very apt to face the financial crisis of the time, since his proposals became very useful in order to address the various ways in which these are presented before an economic crisis, and by empowering financial institutions, this theory was and remains one of the most studied in economics.
