En este artículo, sostengo que las matemáticas son una condición esencial de la constitución de la experiencia en Kant. Para tener una forma coherente en el espacio y el tiempo, la estructura matemática del espacio y el tiempo debe tener una base en conceptos puros. In this paper, I argue that mathematics is an essential condition of the constitution of experience in Kant. In order to have a coherent form in space and time, the mathematical structure of space and time must have a ground in pure concepts. Through the concept of quantity, we can bring together units in space and time in ways that maintain continuity. Without the pure concepts of substance and causality, our experience would be fragmentary and subjective. The mathematical structure of space and time avoids the conceptual formalism in which our concepts have no purchase on experience.
