    Todo tiempo de crisis viene acompañado de un movimiento de regeneración. Rubén Darío y Albert Camus presentan las tierras solares y el sol de mediodía como imágenes de vitalidad para el individuo con una función regeneradora para la sociedad. Están unidas al legado cultural del Mediterráneo y de España y tienen la función de vivificar a una Europa cansada y a una Latinoamérica amenazada por el poder militar del Norte. El sol de medianoche se configura como la contraimagen, envuelta en un halo simbólico anti Mediterráneo. Representa a la civilización anglosajona y a “los sueños alemanes”. Las imágenes solares configuran dos civilizaciones en continua tensión y antítesis.

    Every time of crisis is accompanied by a movement of regeneration. Ruben Dario and Albert Camus present the solar lands and the midday sun as images of vitality for the individual with a regenerative function for society. They are linked to the cultural legacy of the Mediterranean and Spain and have the function of revitalizing a tired Europe and a Latin America threatened by the military power of the North. The midnight sun is configured as the counter image, wrapped in a symbolic anti-Mediterranean halo. It represents the Anglo-Saxon civilization and the «German dreams». The solar images configure two civilizations in continuous tension and antithesis.
