The CUF-101 (A) variety was used as a regional control and the Green Arrow as a farm control. The varieties that stood out in terms of their production of green and dry forage, plant height and stems in the first year of production were: WL-711-WF, Excelente-10 and CUF-101.The varieties with less damage to the crown tissue were: WL-711-WF, Genex 9890 and CUF-101, which were highly resistant to Rhizocotnia solaniunder greenhouse conditions
