    La Arqueología y Museología más clásicas durante siglos se han encargado de invisibilizar a la mujer en sus discursos. Ante ello, a finales del siglo XX la Arqueología de Género surge como un sistema de revisión que busca revalorizar los roles femeninos en el pasado. Este artículo consistirá en la revisión de seis discursos expositivos sobre Prehistoria y Protohistoria –dos permanentes, dos temporales, uno itinerante y uno virtual– del estado español. Así, a partir de los tres ejes fundamentales de toda exposición arqueológica –textos, ilustraciones y cultura material– se determinará si existe o no un sesgo de género en ellas.

    For centuries, the most classical archaeology and museology have been responsible for making women invisible in their discourses. In response, at the end of the 20th century, Gender Archaeology emerged as a system of revision that sought to revalue women’s roles in the past. This article will consist of a review of six exhibition discourses on Prehistory and Protohistory –two permanent, two temporary, one itinerant and one virtual– in Spain. Thus, based on the three fundamental axes of any archaeological exhibition –texts, illustrations and material culture– it will determine whether or not there is a gender bias in them.
