  A atividade catequética, parte integrante de todo processo iniciático da fé, é uma das tarefas primordiais na ação evangelizadora da Igreja. Reconhecendo este mérito, não faltam iniciativas de projetos pastorais que busquem alcançar os inúmeros sujeitos que participam da missão de ensinar a fé cristã. Tem provocado muitas reflexões o projeto social do Papa Francisco de levar à Igreja e a todas as pessoas de boa vontade, no desejo de uma Ecologia Integral e, a partir dela, salvaguardar as relações humanas e como estes homens e mulheres também se preocupam com a Casa Comum e com o presente e futuro da humanidade. Diante disso, a Igreja também deseja que se promova, conscientemente, uma adequada formação com os catequistas e agentes comunitários que, no novo paradigma catequético no qual nos encontramos, assumamos também o desejo de viver a experiência de uma catequese ecológica integral, na justa medida que nos leve à responsabilidade social e à fraternidade universal.

  Catechetical activity, an integral part of every initiatory faith process, is one of the primary tasks in the evangelizing action of the Church. That said, there is no lack of initiatives for pastoral projects that seek to reach the many people who participate in the teaching mission of the Christian faith. There are many reflections on Pope Francis’ social project to bring to the Church and to all people of good will, the promotion of an Integral Ecology and, from there, safeguarding human relations and how all men and women also need to be concerned with the Common Home and with the present and future of humanity. In view of this, the Church also desires that an adequate formation of catechists and community workers be consciously promoted in the new catechetical paradigm in which we find ourselves to promote and live the experience of an integral ecological catechesis, that consequently leads us to greater social responsibility and universal fraternity.
