    La educación a nivel superior es considerada el motor del desarrollo tanto social, democracia y la cohabitación intercultural. La sociedad del conocimiento actual, demanda a que todos los países hagan los mayores esfuerzos por contar con una educación superior competitiva internacionalmente y muy comprometida con las grandes causas de cada nación. México se considera tener un sistema de educación a nivel superior fuerte y cambiante, pero en el que existen problemas estructurales significativos, para lo cual se deben buscar alternativas que le den solución. Desde que se impulsó que la educación se centrara en el alumno, como el persona que aprende, se inicio la búsqueda de no sólo las métodos que utiliza el docente para realizar sus clases, sino también los estilos de aprendizaje que utilizan los estudiantes. El proceso de enseñanza y el proceso de aprendizaje son se presentan juntos, esto quiere decir que las estrategias que se usan para la instrucción influyen en los aprendizajes, pensando en que los alumnos tienen sus formas muy individuales de aprender.

    Higher education is considered the driving force behind social development, democracy and multicultural coexistence. The current knowledge society demands that all countries make the greatest efforts to have an internationally competitive higher education that is highly committed to the great causes of each nation. Mexico has a solid and diversified higher education system, but in which there are significant structural problems, for which alternative solutions must be sought. Since education began to focus on the student, as the subject who learns, not only the tactics used by the teacher to develop their classes, but also the learning styles used by the students began to be analyzed. Teaching and learning are processes that occur together, that is, the strategies used for instruction affect learning, considering that students have their own very particular ways of learning.
