Resumen de Factores que prologan la estancia hospitalaria en las pacientes post parto en un hospital básico

  Introducción: En el embarazo ocurren diversos cambios, con el objetivo de gestar un nuevo ser, siendo este proceso el recurso definitivo que asegura la continuidad de la especie humana En Ecuador, el número de muertes maternas había mostrado una tendencia descendente desde el año 2011, con un total de 241 defunciones de causas relacionadas al embarazo hasta el año 2016, con un total de 133 muertes maternas. Objetivo: Identificar el nivel de conocimiento que tiene el personal de enfermería del área de ginecología en un hospital del Ecuador sobre las complicaciones postparto que alargan la estancia hospitalaria. Metodología: El estudio realizado es de tipo descriptivo en función que se realizó una búsqueda sistemática de la información de diversos artículos en bases de datos confiables y de alto impacto tales como: SCOPUS, SCIELO, SCIENCEDIRECT, DIALNET, LATINDEX, PUDMED entre otras. Además, se aplicó una encuesta a los profesionales de enfermería que laboran en el Hospital Básico San Vicente de Paul, en la ciudad de Pasaje. Resultados: En este tema de investigación se identificó el nivel de conocimientos que se presentan los profesionales de enfermería que laboran en el Hospital Básico San Vicente de Paul, en la ciudad de Pasaje, sobre los factores que alargan la estancia hospitalaria en las mujeres postparto de dicho Hospital, en el cual se pudieron evidenciar aspectos que coinciden con la bibliografía consultada de otros artículos científicos.

  Introduction: Various changes occur during pregnancy, with the aim of gestating a new being, this process being the definitive resource that ensures the continuity of the human species. In Ecuador, the number of maternal deaths had shown a downward trend since 2011, with a total of 241 deaths from causes related to pregnancy until 2016, with a total of 133 maternal deaths. Objective: To identify the level of knowledge that nursing staff in the gynecology area at a hospital in Ecuador have about postpartum complications that lengthen the hospital stay. Methodology: The study carried out is descriptive based on the fact that a systematic search for information from various articles was carried out in reliable and high-impact databases such as: SCOPUS, SCIELO, SCIENCEDIRECT, DIALNET, LATINDEX, PUDMED, among others. In addition, a survey was applied to nursing professionals who work at the Basic Hospital San Vicente de Paul, in the city of Pasaje. Results: In this research topic, the level of knowledge presented by nursing professionals who work at the San Vicente de Paul Basic Hospital, in the city of Pasaje, about the factors that lengthen the hospital stay in postpartum women of said Hospital, in which it was possible to demonstrate aspects that coincide with the consultedbibliography of other scientific articles.
