Resumen de “Look what they've done to my song, ma”: the persuasiveness of song
The persuasiveness of song in social action movements is examined through the music of one advocate of social change, pacifist‐folksinger, Joan Baez. Song as a communicative tool is analyzed by examining types of songs, song construction, communication setting, historical and social setting, and emotional factors.
