Resumen de Patrimonio cultural, arte e identidad. Saberes y procesos de trabajos en y con el paisaje local

  La existencia de canteras de granito, dolomita y piedra caliza hicieron de la región serrana del partido de Olavarría una fuente de riqueza de minerales de gran valor, factor clave para el arribo de migrantes europeos en el siglo XIX. Su llegada fue configurando un espacio para nuevas prácticas de trabajo y para la transmisión de saberes. Como consecuencia existen actualmente en el paisaje olavarriense testimonios que ilustran el surgimiento de un patrimonio industrial minero que hoy forma parte de relictos de tecnología cuasi extintas. La desaparición de los primeros sistemas de producción y la urbanización fabril, provocaron no sólo la inactividad de espacios industriales, sino también la desaparición de antiguos oficios. En este contexto, en el presente trabajo se propone como objetivo reconstruir los procesos mediante los cuales artistas locales revalorizan y enseñan esos conocimientos utilizando las diversas materias primas del paisaje y los saberes que perduran en la memoria colectiva.

  The existence of granite, dolomite and limestone quarries made the mountainous region of the Olavarría district a source of wealth of highly valuable minerals, a key factor for the arrival of European migrants in the 19th century. His arrival was configuring a space for new work practices and for the transmission of knowledge. As a consequence, there are currently testimonies in the landscape of Olavarri that illustrate the emergence of a mining industrial heritage that today forms part of remnants of almost extinct technology. The disappearance of the first production systems and manufacturing urbanization caused not only the inactivity of industrial spaces, but also the disappearance of old trades. In this context, in the present work the objective is to reconstruct the processes by which local artists revalue and teach that knowledge using the various raw materials of the landscape and the knowledge that endures in the collective memory.
