Investigação acerca de atitudes geometricas que fundam a sede da Fundação Iberê Camargo, em Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil, projeto do arquiteto português Álvaro Siza. Objetiva-se compreender como a forma é indissociável da concepção arquitetônica, num processo de síntese de vários âmbitos de projeto, como programa, representatividade, gesto artístico, escalas e continuidade ao entorno. A análise através dos croquis de seu autor, alguns depoimentos e referencias teóricas, foi importante para compreender esta obra de exceção; e a visita à obra propiciou entender como o passeio arquitetônico pode ser gerado por uma forma pertinente.

Research on the geometrical attitudes which establish Iberê Camargo Foundation, in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, designed by the Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza. It aims understanding how inseparable are the form and the architectural conception in a synthesis process of various project areas such as program, representativeness, artistic gesture, scales and continuity with the surroundings. The analysis made through its author’s sketches, some testimonies and theoretical references was important to understanding this work of exception; and the visit to the work allowed perceiving how the architectural tour can be generated by a relevant form.
