    Este artículo, que es la segunda y última parte de una investigación sobre el Ars generalis de Ramón Llull, tiene como propósito presentar las partes principales del sistema luliano y sacar a la luz el principio metafísico implícito en el que se funda todo este sistema, a saber, el “principio de conveniencia”. Las partes del Arte que analizaremos son: los conceptos fundamentales y su expresión gráficas, las cuatro figuras en las que estos conceptos se articulan y la combinatoria, que estudiaremos a partir de la evacuación de la tercera figura, la multiplicación de la cuarta figura y la tabla. Toda esta exposición, como ya dijimos, se funda sobre un principio metafísico subyacente que actúa en la realidad de las cosas, y que, precisamente por este motivo, también se comporta como una exigencia de nuestro pensar.

    The purpose of this article, which is the second and final part of an investigation about Ramon Llull’s Ars generalis, is to present the main parts of the Lullian system and to bring to light the implicit metaphysical principle on which the whole system is based, namely, the “principle of convenience”. The parts of the Art that we will analyze are: the fundamental concepts and their graphic expression, the four figures in which these concepts are articulated and the combinatorics, which we will study starting from the evacuation of the third figure, the multiplication of the fourth figure and the table. All this exposition, as we have already said, is based on an underlying metaphysical principle that acts in the reality of things, and that, precisely for this reason, is also a requirement of our thinking.
