  De dos encuestas muy importantes una realizada por la discográfica Record Union (2019), y otrarealizada por (Musgrave, 2020), se obtuvo como resultado que el 73% de los músicos independientessufren síntomas de estrés, ansiedad, depresión y soledad. En el caso de los músicos de hasta 25años estas cifras crecen hasta el 80%. Los responsables de esta investigación relacionaron 4 de los8 motivos del estudio con los sentimientos que se pueden generar durante un concurso musical, o losalumnos que realizan un examen académico interpretativo, lo que generó curiosidad por las actitudestradicionales de los profesores a la hora de abordar la enseñanza del instrumento, que posiblementeestén relacionadas con el estrés, el cual es el primer desencadenante de los trastornos de ansiedady depresión. Se evaluaron los efectos secundarios de las actitudes docentes en la enseñanza del instrumento como el perfeccionismo, el autoritarismo, el espíritu de competencia y la exigencia de unatécnica rígida, se encontró que estas posturas docentes generan un estrés prolongado en los alumnosel cual puede resultar en el desarrollo de trastornos de ansiedad, depresión, soledad y otras enfermedades físicas como la distonía focal.

  From two important surveys one conducted by the Record Union label (2019), and another conductedby (Musgrave, 2020), it was obtained as a result that 73% of independent musicians suffer symptomsof stress, anxiety, depression, and loneliness. In the case of musicians up to 25 years of age, thesefigures increase to 80%. Those responsible for this research related 4 of the 8 motives of the studyto the feelings that can be generated during a musical competition, or students taking an interpretiveacademic exam, which generated curiosity about the traditional attitudes of teachers when approachingthe teaching of the instrument, which are possibly related to stress, which is the first trigger of anxietyand depression disorders. The secondary effects of teaching attitudes in the teaching of the instrumentsuch as perfectionism, authoritarianism, competitive spirit, and the demand for a rigid technique wereevaluated, it was found that these teaching positions generate prolonged stress in students which canresult in the development of anxiety disorders, depression, loneliness and other physical illnesses suchas focal dystonia.
