    En julio del año pasado, Padua se convirtió en Patrimonio de la Humanidad protegido por la UNESCO, debido a los más de 3.690 metros cuadrados de frescos del siglo XIV conservados en el centrohistórico de la ciudad. Este proyecto tuvo como objetivo involucrar a los estudiantes que asisten a lasescuelas secundarias de segundo grado (13-18 años) en el territorio de Padua y su provincia. A travésde ellos, esperábamos involucrar a sus familias también. Para hacerlos partícipes de la vida culturalde Padua, ideamos un concurso de creación de obras de arte para una exposición. Otro objetivo delproyecto era estimular la imaginación de los estudiantes y tomar la iniciativa de algunas actividadesculturales en la ciudad. Esto ofreció un nuevo enfoque didáctico y un nuevo método para estudiar ytrabajar la historia y el arte en la ciudad de Padua y sus museos

    In July of last year, Padua became a World Heritage Site protected by UNESCO, because of the over3,690 square meters of 14th century frescoes preserved in the historic center of the city. This projectaimed at involving students attending Second Level High Schools (13-18 years old) in the territoryof Padua and its Province. Through them, we hoped to involve their families as well. To make themtake part in the cultural life of Padua, we devised a competition to create works of art for an exhibition.Another goal of the project was to stimulate the students’ imagination and take the initiative for somecultural activities in the city. This offered a new didactic approach and a new method of studying andworking on the history and art in the city of Padua and its museums.
