Resumen de Los malos augurios y la suerte como elementos constitutivos de la muerte en Fabla salvaje y en el cuento «Cera», de César Vallejo

  Este artículo analiza dos textos de César Vallejo: Fabla salvaje y el cuento «Cera» de Escalas. En la novela Fabla salvaje, se observará cómo se representa una etapa cumbre: el momento en el que se rompe el espejo, y desde él se tratará de evidenciar la importancia de la suerte y los malos augurios en la construcción del texto. Asimismo, en el cuento «Cera», mostraremos una secuencia ordenada de malos augurios que ceden el paso a la presencia de la muerte. Por ello, tanto la novela como el cuento tienen en común los malos augurios y la presencia de la suerte como elementos que acarrean la posibilidad de morir. En tal sentido, es menester mostrar la vinculación de estos elementos, en ambos textos, con la muerte propiamente dicha. En otras palabras, no puede existir la presencia de la muerte sin antes haber sido enunciada tácita o expresamente por diferentes marcas en la obra de Vallejo.

  This article analyses two texts by César Vallejo: Fabla salvaje and the short story «Cera» by Escalas. In the novel Fabla salvaje, it will be observed how a peak stage is represented: the moment in which the mirror is broken, and from it, the importance of luck and bad omens in the construction of the text will be shown. Likewise, in the story «Cera», we will show an ordered sequence of bad omens that give way to the presence of death. Thus, both the novel and the story have in common the bad omens and the presence of luck as elements that bring with them the possibility of death. In this sense, it is necessary to show the link between these elements, in both texts, and death itself. In other words, the presence of death cannot exist without first having been tacitly or expressly enunciated by different marks in Vallejo’s work.
