Resumen de Prestige as a factor influencing the validity of decisions in intercollegiate debate

  • This study examines the variable “prestige” as it affects decisions in intercollegiate debate. Operationally defining prestige as a function of participation in the National Debate Tournament, the study reports models for predicting the results of intercollegiate debates on the basis of the prestige rating for the schools and judge involved.
