Antonio Fernández de Buján y Fernández
This paper aims to offer a brief commentary on some of the institutions of Roman law, such as the rights of the state over inheritance, tax reform, the creation of a public police force, or the crimes of misappropriation or diversion of public funds. Created ex novo or reformed by August legislation, they are of particular interest in addition to August's more well-known and studied provisions in the areas of marriage, provincial and municipal law, citizenship and liberty.
