    El presente escrito comparte una reflexión sobre la circulación de la pornografía en el espacio público, su impacto en la vida y sexualidad de las mujeres y los aportes teórico políticos provenientes de un feminismo que problematiza la pornografía como violencia estructural. Se toma como referencia situada a Chile, país que, como muchos otros de la región latinoamericana, ostenta alto consumo pornográfico y una ambigüedad estatal histórica en este tema, siendo objeto de preocupación recientemente sólo por el riesgo que supone para niñas y niños,mientras,queal mismo tiempo,la pornografía se promueve y tolera a través del mercado y los medios de comunicación. El presente escrito es un ensayo, que reúne algunos antecedentes actuales de la pornografía en Chile, que se complementan con aportes teóricos del feminismo y de la autora, con la pretensión de actualizar un debate prácticamente inexistente en el feminismo chileno y motivar al posicionamiento frente a este problema social que afecta de manera particular a las niñas y a las mujeres

    This paper shares a reflection on the circulation of pornography in the public space, its impact on the life and sexuality of women and the theoretical political contributions coming from a feminism that problematizes pornography as structural violence. Chile is taken as a situated reference, a country that, like many others in the Latin American region,has high pornographic consumption and a historical state ambiguity on this issue, being the object of concern recently only because of the risk it poses for girls and boys,whileat the same time,pornography is promoted and tolerated through the market and the media. The present writing is an essay that brings together some current background information on pornography in Chile, which is complemented by theoretical contributions from feminism and the author, with the aim of updating a practically non-existent debate in Chilean feminism and motivating a position against this social problem that particularly affects girls and women
