    El objetivo de este estudio es ofreceruna visión panorámica de los fenómenos de carác-ter fonético-ortográfico que aparecen en las co-lumnas sobre la lengua (CSL) en la prensa nacionalespañola desde finales del siglo XIXhasta la actuali-dad. Para ello, se han analizado los artículos queversan sobre ortografía de Miguel de Unamuno,Mariano de Cavia, Fernando Araujo, EustaquioEchauri, Ramón Carnicer, Emilio Lorenzo, FranciscoRíos y Luis Cortés. La amplia cronología permitirádeterminar cuáles son las preocupaciones sobreeste aspecto de la lengua y si estas han ido variandoen el tiempo. Desde una perspectiva ideológica, sepretende averiguar la posición que han tomado losautores de dichos artículos ante la norma y las obrasque han empleado como autoridad en sus escritospara establecer juicios normativos. Este estudioarrojará luz sobre los posibles cambios de actitudhacia la ortografía y la norma a lo largo del tiempo.

    The objective of this study is to offer anoverview of the orthography that appears in thecolumns on language in the Spanish national pressfrom the end of the 19th century until the presentday. For this, the articles that deal with spelling byMiguel de Unamuno, Mariano de Cavia, FernandoAraujo, Eustaquio Echauri, Ramón Carnicer, EmilioLorenzo, Francisco Ríos y Luis Cortés have beenanalysed. The extensive chronology will allow us todetermine what are the concerns about this aspectof the language and if they have varied over time.From an ideological perspective, it is intended tofind out the position that the authors of thesearticles have taken regarding the norm, as well asthe works that they have used as authority in theirwritings to establish normative judgments. Thestudy will shed light on possible changes in the atti-tude towards spelling and the norm over time.
