La adaptación organizativa de los eventos a causa de la COVID-19: El caso de los Premios Princesa de Asturias

    Los eventos oficiales y no oficiales se han visto afectados, al igual que otros sectores, por la COVID-19. La nueva organización de estos actos en los tiempos de pandemia ha supuesto un reto para los profesionales del ceremonial adaptándose a los protocolos establecidos por la OMS. Un ejemplo de ello ha sido los Premios Princesa de Asturias celebrados en el año 2020 en los que se ha podido ver modificaciones en algunas áreas del acto oficial. De esta manera, con el estudio de la organización y celebración de los Premios Princesa de Asturias en sus ediciones de 2019 y 2020, se ha comprobado como la pandemia de la COVID-19 y las medidas sanitarias impuestas por el Gobierno cambian el protocolo de los premios. Para ello, se investigan parámetros como la presidencia, la precedencia, la entrega de los diplomas y premios, la sede o el número de invitados, entre otros componentes protocolarios.

    Official and unofficial events have been affected, like other fields, by COVID-19. The new organization of these events for pandemic has been a challenge for ceremonial professionals, adapting to the protocols imposed by the WHO. An example of this has been the Princess of Asturias Awards held in 2020, where have happened changes in some areas of the official event. Investigating the organization and celebration of the Princess of Asturias Awards in its 2019 and 2020 editions, it allow for knowing how the COVID-19 pandemic and the health measures imposed by the Government have changed the protocol of the awards. Parameters such as the presidency, the precedence, the presentation of diplomas and awards, the headquarters, the number of guests and other protocol components, are investigated in this study.
