    Las celebraciones de actos han permitido, desde tiempos inmemoriales, que pueblos y civilizaciones se hayan involucrado hasta el punto de identificarse con este tipo de actividades, las cuales ostentan un alto valor histórico. Así pues, estas formas de uso social y cultural han dado paso a unos patrones de comportamiento que han hecho necesaria la implantación de una serie de formalidades que marquen las pautas para el correcto desarrollo de las mismas.

    La presente investigación nace con la intención de estudiar las precedencias como un orden espacio-temporal de las autoridades que participan en un acto y la relación que mantienen entre ellas, concretamente en el ámbito civil-eclesiástico de la ciudad de Sevilla y de forma más precisa, estudiar el caso de la Procesión de la Espada de San Fernando, celebrada el día 23 de noviembre de 2022; festividad de San Clemente.

    Partiendo de la importancia que tiene la tradición, la costumbre y lo no escrito en este tipo de actos, se hará un compendio de aspectos teóricos importantes sobre éstos como la titularidad del acto, técnicas de ordenación y normas de etiqueta, entre otros fundamentos sobre ceremonial y protocolo. Todo ello enmarcado en un contexto donde la esfera civil y eclesiástica mantienen vínculos que se han ido modelando con el paso del tiempo y que han configurado el acervo cultural del pueblo sevillano.

    The celebrations of acts have allowed, since time immemorial, that peoples and civilizations have become involved to the point of identifying with this type of activities, which have a high historical value. Thus, these forms of social and cultural use have given way to behavior patterns that have made it necessary to implement a series of formalities that set the guidelines for their correct development.

    The present investigation was born with the intention of studying the precedences as a spatio-temporal order of the authorities that participate in an act and the relationship that they maintain between them, specifically in the civil-ecclesiastical sphere of the city of Seville and more precisely, study the case of the Procession of the Sword of San Fernando, held on November 23, 2022; Feast of San Clemente.

    Based on the importance of tradition, custom and what is not written in this type of acts, a compendium of important theoretical aspects about them will be made, such as the ownership of the act, management techniques and etiquette rules, among other ceremonial fundamentals. and protocol. All of this framed in a context where the civil and ecclesiastical spheres maintain links that have been shaped over time and that have shaped the cultural heritage of the Sevillian people.
