    El siguiente artículo se refiere al caso Víctor Pey Casado y Fundación Presidente Allende con República de Chile, el de mayor duración en el sistema CIADI, y que actualmente se encuentra en fase de ejecución ante la justicia española. Se abordarán, principalmente, los aspectos fácticos y procesales que devinieron en la situación procesal actual, así como la particularidad del exorbitante monto por el cual se busca ejecutar el laudo arbitral contra el Estado de Chile en una jurisdicción foránea.

    The following article refers to the case Víctor Pey Casado and Fundación Presidente Allende v. Republic of Chile, the longest in the ICSID system and is currently in the execution phase before the Spanish justice system. We will review the factual and procedural aspects regarding the current procedural situation and the particularity of the exorbitant amount for which the arbitration award against the State of Chile pretends to enforcement in a foreign jurisdiction.
