    Esta investigación se centra en evaluar el impacto de la plataforma educativa Khan Academy en el aprendizaje de la función lineal en estudiantes de primer año de bachillerato del colegio fiscal Gonzalo Zaldumbide, quienes inicialmente mostraban un bajo rendimiento académico y luego mostraron una mejora significativa en el aprendizaje del tema. Se trabajo con un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño experimental bajo el paradigma positivista, la variable independiente fue la incorporación de Khan Academy  en los estudiantes y la dependiente el aprendizaje de la función lineal. La muestra de estudio comprendió a 90 estudiantes. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que el cambio en las estrategias didácticas, al integrar la plataforma Khan Academy en las clases de matemáticas, generó una mejora significativa en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. Una de las conclusiones más relevantes esta relaciona con la adopción de Khan Academy como herramienta educativa y reveló ser una alternativa efectiva para favorecer el aprendizaje significativo de la función lineal, especialmente en aquellos estudiantes con dificultades previas en el tema. La plataforma no solo dinamizó el proceso de enseñanza, sino que también potenció el rendimiento académico de los alumnos. Estos hallazgos destacan la utilidad de Khan Academy como recurso valioso en la mejora del desempeño estudiantil, respaldando su papel como una herramienta eficaz en entornos educativos que buscan optimizar el aprendizaje de conceptos matemáticos clave.

    This research focuses on evaluating the impact of the Khan Academy educational platform on the learning of the linear function in first-year high school students of the Gonzalo Zaldumbide public school, who initially showed low academic performance and then showed a significant improvement in learning. about the topic. We worked with a quantitative approach and an experimental design under the positivist paradigm, the independent variable was the incorporation of Khan Academy in the students and the dependent variable was the learning of the linear function.

    The study sample included 90 students. The results obtained indicated that the change in teaching strategies, by integrating the Khan Academy platform into mathematics classes, generated a significant improvement in the academic performance of the students. One of the most relevant conclusions is related to the adoption of Khan Academy as an educational tool and revealed to be an effective alternative to promote meaningful learning of the linear function, especially in those students with previous difficulties in the subject. The platform not only streamlined the teaching process, but also enhanced the academic performance of the students. These findings highlight the usefulness of Khan Academy as a valuable resource in improving student performance, supporting its role as an effective tool in educational settings seeking to optimize the learning of key mathematical concepts.
