    La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar el Sistema Integrado de Gestión y suimpacto en la rentabilidad en las medianas y grandes empresas del sector industrial de Cotopaxi,resaltando todas las ventajas que trae y la importancia del manejo combinado de procesos en unaempresa, se indagó los antecedentes a esta investigación, partiendo de las definiciones básicas derentabilidad y Sistema Integrado de Gestión, así como también las diferentes normativas que seaplican y los países que más obtienen este tipo de certificaciones, a partir de ello, se ha tomadocomo variable independiente al Sistema Integrado de Gestión y como variable dependiente a larentabilidad. Para realizar esta investigación de manera apropiada se utilizó metodología conenfoque mixto, que se aplica tanto la parte cualitativa como cuantitativa, por medio de revisiónbibliográfica e investigación de campo con la aplicación de 22 encuestas que fue desarrollada conun límite de 21 preguntas, lo cual sirvió de base para la interpretación de los resultados mediantegráficos porcentuales. Al mismotiempo se realizó el análisis horizontal de los estados financierosde las diferentes empresas y se calculó los indicadores de rentabilidad. Para finalizar se elaboró unmanual para la integración de un sistema basado en SGC ISO:9001 2015, SGMA ISO:14001 2015y SGSSO ISO:45000 2018 donde se incluyen todos los procesos que realizan los diferentesdepartamentos con el fin de ser una guía para las empresas del sector industrial.

    The objective of this investigation is to analyze the Integrated Management System and its impact on profitability in medium and large companies in the industrial sector of Cotopaxi, highlighting all the advantages it brings and the importance of combined process management in a company, it was investigated the background to this research, based on the basic definitions of profitability and Integrated Management System, as well as the different regulations that apply and the countries that obtain this type of certification the most, from this, it has been taken as an independent variable to the Integrated Management System and as a dependent variable to profitability. To carry out this research in an appropriate way, a mixed approach methodology was used, which applies both the qualitative and quantitative part, through bibliographic review and field research with the application of 22 surveys that were developed with a limit of 21 questions, which served as the basis for the interpretation of the results through percentage graphs. At the same time, the horizontal analysis of the financial statements of the different companies was carried out and the profitability indicators were calculated. Finally, a manual was prepared for the integration of a system based on SGC ISO: 9001 2015, SGMA ISO: 14001 2015 and SGSSO ISO: 45000 2018, which includes all the processes carried out by the different departments in order to be a guide for companies in the industrial sector.
