El rol de la inteligencia artificial en la enseñanza-aprendizaje de la educación superior

    El objetivo de este artículo fue analizar el papel de la inteligencia artificial en la educación superior a través de una revisión bibliográfica que permita reflexionar sobre sus contribuciones al aprendizaje significativo, pertinente y contextualizado. Para ello se procedió a realizar una consulta bibliográfica de tal forma que se recolectara la información necesaria para reflexionar en torno a la temática en estudio.  El alcance más importante de la inteligencia artificial en el contexto de la educación superior señalado por los artículos es su reconocimiento como factor de alto impacto, sin embargo, el reto más significativo es la falta de conocimiento y precisión respecto a este mismo rubro, es decir, si bien se reconoce que es un factor de importancia, no se sabe a ciencia cierta en qué medida llegará a transformar la educación superior. Lo que la educación debe comprender en este punto, en especial las universidades, es que la tecnología y, puntualmente la IA, han llegado para quedarse. El reto es hoy ir al mismo ritmo de avance que estas nuevas realidades. La educación no puede en ninguna circunstancia convertirse en un conjunto de saberes obsoletos sobre la enseñanza. Es esencial establecer políticas y regulaciones claras para garantizar la protección de la privacidad y la ética en el uso de la IA en la educación superior, así como promover una reflexión crítica y ética sobre el papel de la tecnología en el proceso educativo.

    The objective of this article was to analyze the role of artificial intelligence in higher education through a bibliographic review that allows us to reflect on its contributions to meaningful, relevant and contextualized learning. For this, a bibliographical consultation was carried out in such a way that the necessary information was collected to reflect on the subject under study. The most important scope of artificial intelligence in the context of higher education indicated by the articles is its recognition as a high impact factor, however, the most significant challenge is the lack of knowledge and precision regarding this same area, that is, , although it is recognized that it is an important factor, it is not known for sure to what extent it will transform higher education. What education must understand at this point, especially universities, is that technology and, specifically, AI, are here to stay. The challenge today is to keep pace with these new realities. Education cannot under any circumstances become a set of obsolete knowledge about teaching. It is essential to establish clear policies and regulations to guarantee the protection of privacy and ethics in the use of AI in higher education, as well as to promote critical and ethical reflection on the role of technology in the educational process.
