Resumen de ¿Quién gana los Premios Max?: Análisis con perspectiva de género de los premios de las artes escénicas

  Este trabajo analiza la presencia de mujeres ganadoras de los Premios Max desde 1998 a 2023. El objetivo es establecer si se produce un incremento longitudinal y analizar en qué roles tienen ellas una mayor visibilidad. Se concluye que no existe una paridad en la entrega de premios en el sector teatral y destacan como categorías con menor representación femenina la dirección escénica, el texto teatral y la composición y dirección musical. El mayor número de mujeres galardonadas se aprecia en las categorías de vestuario y coreografía. Se estudia también la dirección de las galas y se observa que en los últimos años se evoluciona hacia un equipo paritario que dirige y guioniza la entrega de premios. El análisis de los Premios Max tal y como se presenta en esta investigación no se ha realizado anteriormente, por lo que el artículo aporta una revisión novedosa de la situación de las mujeres en las artes escénicas.

  This paper analyzes the presence of women in the Max Awards from 1998 to 2023. It is studied in order to establish whether there is an evolution in terms of equality and in which rolls they have greater visibility. It is concluded that there is no parity in the awarding and the categories with the lowest presence of women are stage direction, authorship and musical composition and direction. The greatest presence of female professionals is seen in the categories of costumes and choreography. The direction of the events is also studied, and it is concluded that in recent years there is a parity team that directs and scripts the award ceremonies. The analysis of the Max Awards as presented in this research has not been done before, so the article provides a review of the situation of women in the performing arts.
