Resumen de Mujeres en educación física en universidades de Argentina y Brasil: Un acercamiento a su identificación

El proceso de crecimiento universitario de la Educación Física en Argentina y Brasil se encuentra articulado a la construcción de conocimiento, a la incorporación de prácticas de investigación científica asociadas a las universidades y a organismos especializados. Aunque la investigación científica en ambos países presenta rasgos diferenciales, comparten la tendencia a invisibilizar a las mujeres investigadoras. Con el objetivo de conocer y comprender la participación de mujeres en educación física en universidades de Argentina y Brasil, este artículo explicita el mecanismo de identificación de las investigadoras científicas reconocidas a partir de la década del 70 en ambos países. Se trata de un estudio comparativo a partir de entrevistas de historia oral. En este artículo se comparte el procedimiento de identificación de los casos a estudiar, y profundización en lectura sobre género y configuraciones de la construcción científica del área a fin de identificar tópicos organizadores de las entrevistas. Los principales hallazgos se resumen en la colocación del tema de género en una comunidad de conocimiento con dominancia masculina, el reconocimiento de los procesos institucionales y nacionales que hacen posible reconocer los casos a entrevistar y el avance en la lectura de textos especializados que permiten identificar las categorías de búsqueda. Enfrentamos diversos desafíos entre ellos: la ausencia de registros del material histórico, retorno de las instituciones, el acceso a datos actualizados de las docentes jubiladas, entre otros.

The process of university growth of Physical Education in Argentina and Brazil is linked to the construction of knowledge and the incorporation of research practices associated with universities and specialized organizations. Although scientific research in both countries presents different features, they share the tendency to make invisible women researchers. With the objective of knowing and understanding the participation of women in physical education in universities in Argentina and Brazil, this article explains the identification mechanism of scientific researchers recognized since the 1970s in both countries. This is a comparative study based on oral history interviews. This article shares the procedure for identifying the cases to be studied, and further reading about gender and configurations of the scientific construction of the area in order to identify organizing topics for the interviews. The main findings are summarized in the placement of the gender issue in a knowledge community with male dominance, the recognition of the institutional and national processes that make it possible to recognize the cases to be interviewed, and the progress in reading specialized texts that allow identifying the search categories. We overcame by delving into reading about gender and configurations of the scientific construction of the area was deepened in order to identify topics for the interviews with these women.
