  • Resumen
    • This article examines excerpts from Suetonius's "De vita Caesarum" found in Philadephia, University of Pennsylvania Libraries, MS Codex 856, an italian manuscript from the second half of the fifteenth century. An analysis is made of the extracts, and suggestions are offered on their nature, the interests of the compiler, and where the exemplar used by the compiler might fit into the larger manuscript tradition of the "De vita Caesarum". This compilation also incoporates other extracts from the "Liber Augustalis" of Benvenutus de Rambaldis de Imola and the Monosticha of Ausonius
