    El concepto de representación es el pivote del pensamiento moderno y de la tradición hermenéutica que le es propia. Tanto en Sigmund Freud como en Werner Hamacher este concepto es tensionado al ser puesto en relación con un concepto emparentado, el concepto de Entstellung que, inscribiéndose en el mismo campo problemático que el de representación, introduce en él una serie de desplazamientos en cuanto a su significación y alcances. El presente trabajo considera la trayectoria de dichos desplazamientos, desplazándose a su vez entre las propuestas de ambos autores, en una búsqueda que sigue de cerca las transformaciones materiales del vocablo alemán y sus respectivas relaciones de reciprocidad con otros términos, como el comprender, la figura, la figuración, entre otros.

    The concept of representation is the pivot of modern thought and of the hermeneutic tradition that is proper to it. In both Sigmund Freud and Werner Hamacher this concept is put under tension when it is put in relation to a related concept, the concept of Entstellung, which, being inscribed in the same problematic field as that of representation, introduces a series of displacements in terms of its meaning and scope. The present work considers the trajectory of these displacements, moving in turn between the proposals of both authors, in a search that closely follows the material transformations of the German word and their respective relations of reciprocity with other terms, such as understanding, figure, figuration, among others.
