    Este trabajo se centra en una investigación sobre la familia y antepasados del Padre Manuel de Larramendi. Partiendo de los escasos datos que sobre el tema se conocían, trata de dar una visión sobre sus hermanos, padres, abuelos, bisabuelos... etc. Aporta, además, nuevos elementos para la biografía del ilustre jesuita. Se basa fundamentalmente en documentos notariales y autos de Corregimiento de Gipuzkoa. Va acompañado de la transcripción de una serie de documentos notariales: testamentos, contratos matrimoniales, etc. Cuatro de ellos son del propio Padre Manuel de Larramendi (uno autógrafo).

    Aita Manuel Larramendiren familia, eta honen aurrekoen ezagutzan saiatzen da lan hau. Orain arte genekien apurretik hasi, eta jesuitaren anai-arrebak, gurasoak, osaba-izabak, aiton-amonak, birraiton-amonak... etabar, zein ziren, eta hauek egin zituzten gauzen berri ematen da. Bestalde, Aita Manuelen bografia hobeto ezagutzeko berriak diren daturen batzuk ere azaltzen dira. Lana documentu notarialetan eta gipuzkoako korrejimenduko zenbait auzitan oinarritzen da. Bukatzeko zenbait documenturen transkripzioak eransten dira: testamentuak, ezkontza-hitzarmenak, etabar. Hauetatik lau Aita Manuel berak eskribau aurrean eginak dira (bat autografoa).

    This is a priece of research about the family and ancestors of Father Manuel de Larramendi. Taking as starting poínt on the exiguous data existing on the subjet and it aims at providing information about his parents. grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. It also offers new insghts in order to compile a comprehensive biography about the distinguished priest. The many source of information has been legal documents and proceedings. The transcription of several legal texts such as wills and wedding contracts is also included. Four of these documents were written by Father Manuel de Larramendi (one of them is a manuscript).
