    Despite not restricting freedom, the socio-educational measure of service to the community (PSC) aims to hold adolescents accountable and disapprove of infraction conduct and social integration. Thus, the fulfillment of the measure must be supported from an ethical-political and pedagogical perspective. The present research aimed to diagnose the social reality experienced by adolescents in compliance with the PSC. For this, the daily practices of assistanceby the technical teams to adolescents in compliance with the socio-educational measure were addressed, understanding whether the social issues experienced by the adolescents prevented reaching the methodological purpose of the socio-educational measure. Qualitative research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with social workers, psychologists, and pedagogues. Data were analyzed using Content Analysis, supported by Atlas.ti software in the coding process, with the contribution of Nancy Fraser's theoretical framework with the Theory of Redistribution and Recognition. The main results indicate that the teenager was not understood as a developing subject, being labeled by the typology of the infraction as a "thief who has no way out." Poverty, school dropout, the fragility of family ties, prejudice, and low self-esteem, were preponderant to limit the reach of the methodological result of the PSC socio-educational measure

    A medida socioeducativa de prestação de serviço à comunidade (PSC), apesar da não restrição da liberdade, visa a responsabilização do adolescente, a desaprovação da conduta infracional e a integração social. Assim, o atendimento da medida deve ser sustentado em uma perspectiva ético-política e pedagógica. A presente pesquisa objetivou realizar um diagnóstico da realidade social vivida por adolescentes em cumprimento da PSC. Para isso, foram abordadas as práticas cotidianas de atendimento das equipes técnicas aos adolescentes em cumprimento da medida socioeducativa, compreendendo se as questões sociais vividas pelos adolescentes obstaram alcançar a finalidade metodológica da medida socioeducativa. Foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas com assistentes sociais, psicólogos e pedagogos. Os dados foram analisados por meio da Análise de Conteúdo, com apoio do softwareAtlas.ti no processo de codificação, com o aporte do referencial teórico de Nancy Fraser com a Teoria da Redistribuição e Reconhecimento. Os principais resultados apontam que o adolescente não foi compreendido como sujeito em desenvolvimento, sendo rotulado pela tipologia do ato infracional como um “bandidinho que não tem jeito”. Pobreza, evasão escolar, fragilidade dos laços familiares, preconceito e baixa autoestima foram preponderantes para limitar o alcance do resultado metodológico da medida socioeducativa PSC
