Peelings químicos y su rol en el manejo de la hiperpigmentación genital femenina

    El objetivo del artículo fue describir la aplicabilidad y efecto de peeling químicos como corrección de hiperpigmentación en zona genito-perineal femenina. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica en: Pubmed y Google Scholar. Se emplearon términos clave como: “Chemical peelings”, “Female genital hyperpigmentation” “Treatment”, “Hyperpigmentation” con los conectores “And” y “Or”. Con lo cual no se obtuvieron resultados, por lo que se procedió a realizar una búsqueda por términos individuales y se aplicaron los filtros: año de las publicaciones, tipo de artículos y palabras clave, obteniéndose 8 artículos, de los cuales se excluyen 3 según criterios de inclusión y exclusión, quedando 5 artículos para su análisis y descripción según los objetivos propuestos. El peeling químico representa un tratamiento adecuado para trastornos dérmicos, incluyendo la hiperpigmentación en región genital, de fácil aplicación y gran auge en los últimos tiempos.Palabras clave:Exfoliación, hiperpigmentación, hiperpigmentación genital, peeling químico, trastornos dérmicos.

    The objective of the article was to describe the applicability and effect of chemical peels as a correction of hyperpigmentation in the female genito-perineal area. A bibliographic review was carried out in: Pubmed and Google Scholar. Key terms such as: "Chemical peelings", "Female genital hyperpigmentation" "Treatment", "Hyperpigmentation" were used with the connectors "And" and "Or". With which no results were obtained, so a search was carried out by individual terms and the filters were applied: year of publications, type of articles and keywords, obtaining 8 articles, of which 3 were excluded according to criteria of inclusion and exclusion, leaving 5 articles for analysis and description according to the proposed objectives. The chemical peel represents an adequate treatment for dermal disorders, including hyperpigmentation in the genital region, easy to apply and has become very popular in recent times.Keywords:Exfoliation, hyperpigmentation, genital hyperpigmentation, chemical peel, dermal disorders.
