  Los bosques de robles y abedules en las montañas ibéricas no se encuentran incluidos en ningún hábitat de interés comunitario de la Directiva 92/43/CEE (Directiva Hábitats). Sin embargo, debido a su valor ecológico y faunístico, estos bosques merecerían serlo y deberían de ser incluidos, con carácter prioritario, en la Directiva Hábitats. Esta situación los deja expuestos a amenazas naturales, pero principalmente antrópicas, como por ejemplo las derivadas de proyectos de diversas infraestructuras

  The oak and birch forests in the Iberian mountains are not included in any habitat of community interest in the Directive 92/43/EEC (Habitat Directive). However, due to their ecological and faunistic value, these forests deserve to be and should be included, as a priority, in the Habitat Directive. This situation leaves them exposed to natural but mainly anthropic threats, such as those resulting from different infrastructure projects
