    El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la arquitectura industrial de Andoain. Para ello, hemos elegido un período significativo de su historia, la fase que transcurre entre 1928 y 1942. Durante estos años, Andoain, además de conocer un importante desarrollo económico, verá cómo se construyen nuevos edificios industriales. Y aunque la mayoría continuará realizándose en los estilos tradicionales —siguiendo la tipología del caserío vasco— encontraremos también los que asimilen y defiendan el Racionalismo. El conjunto más reconocido de este tipo de arquitectura es la Fábrica Laborde, recientemente declarada Monumento por el Gobierno Vasco, pero hay también otras construcciones en Andoain asimismo interesantes realizadas en el mismo estilo. Edificios y, también, seres humanos participando de este apasionante momento de la Historia de Andoain.

    The aim of this work is to analyze the industrial architecture of Andoain. For that purpose, we have chosen a significant period of its History, namely, the time span between 1928 and 1942. During these years an important economic development took place, and along with that, new industrial buildings were erected. Thus, even though most of them were built according to traditional styles —that is, imitating the tipology of a Basque country house— we can also find a few of them that assimilate and defend Rationalism. The best known rationalist building in this town is a factory called Laborde which has recently been declared Monument by the Basque Government; but there are some other very interesting rationalist buildings sited in the town. Buildings and people that took part in this exciting time of the History of Andoain.

    Lana honen helburua Andoaingo arkitektura industriala aztertzea da. Horretarako bere historiaren garai berezi bat aukeratu dugu, 1928 eta 1942 urteen arteko fasea. Garai honetan Andoainek garapen ekonomiko garrantzitsua ezagutzeaz gain, eraikin industrial berriak altxatzen ikusiko ditu. Eta hauetako gehienak ohiko estiloak jarraituko badituzte ere —baserri tipologia kopiatuz— Razionalismoa barneratu eta estilo hau defendatuko dituzten eraikinak ere aurkituko ditugu. Ospetsuena, eta orain dela denbora gutxi Monumentu izendapena jaso duena Eusko Jaurlaritzaren eskutik, Laborde Lantegia izan da, baina Andoainen beste eraikin interesgarriak estilo berdinean eginak badaude ere. Eraikin eta gizakiak ere Andoain herriaren Historiako momentu zoragarri honetan parte hartzen.
